For parents thatare very religious, probually dont want their kids reading this because they might think it goes against everything they learned about their religion, also they want their kids to do what they never got to do, so they try and stop their kids from believing in the wizerd books, such as harry potter. Parents may not like ow later in the series, harry gets an interest in girls and is stalked by death wherever he goes. Also, some parents have pulled their kids out of classes because their watching the harry potter movies or their reading aloud them. thats kind of being a little too obscene to make their child not be involved in that. luckily, only a few schools have afreed to ban these books from their shelves.

Harry Potter has gotten kids from all over to read, even if they never liked reading. harry potter is a favorite book of millions of kids. it has made the reading level in kids go up. the lesson, good verses evil in books are good to know when your young because usually the goog guy always wins, so in the future they might not go down the wrong path with their lives. its wrong to ban a book that has made reading popular again with kids and teens.
